Close Tolerance, High Appearance Sheet Metal Weldments and Assemblies Specialty Engineering’s (SE’s) vision is to be the best sheet metal fabricator in the United States, as viewed by our customers. SE focuses on providing close tolerance, high appearance weldments and assemblies to a group of select and diversified partners. SE does not want to be all things to all people, but we do want to be all things to a handful of select partners. ISO 9002 Registered (BVQi Certificate No. 47894) Since April of 1995, SE’s ISO 9002 Registered Quality System has provided the foundation for continuous improvement. It is through the use of the policies and procedures found in this quality system, that all employees are involved in the continuous goal of meeting or exceeding the requirements of our partners. Technology Leadership Another one of SE’s goals is technology leadership. Technology, when properly applied can assist in the production of close tolerance, high appearance sheet metal parts. SE currently employs the use of CNC turret punch presses with automatic sheet loading and unloading, CNC press brakes, CNC CD stud guns, and robotic welding. Our engineering team is always looking at the emerging technology to determine if it would assist SE in meeting customers’ needs. To speed product into production, prints can be received electronically via modem, disks or tapes, and the internet. These electronic prints can be directly loaded into one of our three seats of PRO Engineer, or SE’s CAM software and downloaded to the CNC equipment. Stainless Steel and Aluminum Experts, in addition to Cold Rolled Steel Unique processes required for fabricating stainless steel and aluminum are already in place at SE. When you need a brushed stainless steel or brushed aluminum part, SE’s production team can meet your requirements.
